The Opportunity
Join our team and play a key role in rearing our next generation of high-performing dairy cattle. You’ll be assisting in caring for young calves—feeding and monitoring their health and welfare. Animal wellbeing is our top priority, so you’ll champion our high welfare standards.
You may also assist with milking the herd or general farm duties. Flexibility is essential, as hours can vary depending on seasonal demands.
This is a drive in/drive out role, so reliable transport is required.
This role is fixed-term from early July to mid October, with a minimum of twenty hours a week guaranteed.
About You You’ll need to be proactive in raising concerns, maintaining hygiene, and helping ensure calves are thriving from birth. If you’re someone who takes pride in doing the job right and has a real care for animals, we want to hear from you.
You will bring:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional attitude to health and safety and animal welfare
- Experience in calf rearing or farming (preferred) – or is keen to learn
- Comfort working outdoors, and you are physically fit
- A restricted or full driver’s license
