Travelling around New Zealand and looking for a fun, hands-on role, or you might be a seasoned calf rearer. Come work with our awesome team and help raise our next generation of healthy, happy calves.
You’ll be feeding our calves and making sure our calves are thriving. Animal care is a top priority here—so if you’re someone who genuinely cares, this is your chance to make a difference.
This is a drive in/drive out role—you’ll need your own accommodation and reliable transport. The job runs from August to end of October, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week (with potential for more depending on the season and what you are looking for).
Convenient location, ten minutes from Oxford and twenty-five minutes from Rangiora
The Farm This is a 400 effective ha farm and milks 950 cows through a 60-bale rotary, rearing heifer replacement calves. The location offers easy access to a range of recreational activities.
About You You don’t need heaps of experience – just a good attitude, strong work ethic, and care for animals. If you’re practical, reliable, and enjoy being outdoors, we want to hear from you.
You’ll bring:
- A willingness to learn and give things a go
- A genuine care for animals and their wellbeing
- Experience in calf rearing or farming (ideal but not essential)
- Ability to work both solo and in a team
- A restricted or full driver’s licence
- Your own transport and accommodation
