Boutique Hotel Housekeeper and General Assistant – Blenheim

The role we are offering is for a super star Housekeeper and general all rounder to help with the busy Summer Season as follows

  • The role is fixed term for 6 months, starting early October 24 through to April 25. Some flexibility as to start dates may be available to the right applicant
  • Shifts are day time only
  • The role is predominantly Housekeeping, but may also extend to include some office and check in/ check out duties.

The environment is that of a 5 Star boutique hotel which prides itself on its great reputation. You would be working as part of a small, friendly and supportive team, with a great work culture. All team members are also expected to act with the upmost discretion and professionalism.

The role requires the following attributes

  • The ability to work effectively as both a team member and independently
  • Flexibility as to days and hours worked
  • A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is required. Ideally you will have had experience in this field, but training will also be given
  • You will need to be able to maintain our 5* high standards and have a keen eye for detail
  • You must be well presented and physically fit for the role
  • You need to be honest, discreet, reliable, and friendly and be very professional in your work
  • You will need to be fluent in English in both the written and spoken word and be confident to interact effectively with guests
  • You must be a resident of NZ, or hold a valid working visa for the period required. No sponsorship is offered for this role
