Role Overview
The Barista & Hospitality Team Member will prepare high-quality coffee and beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and support daily store operations. This role suits someone energetic, reliable, and passionate about food, coffee, and engaging with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, hot drinks, and light snacks to a high standard
- make thick shakes, prepare food like pies and rolls , or similar café-style service
- Handle Scoop ice cream and real fruit ice cream.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service
- Operate POS system and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Maintain a clean and hygienic coffee/food prep area
- Assist with general superette tasks including stocking shelves, packing fridges, and tidying the store
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory and inform management when supplies are low
- Assist in creating a positive and welcoming store atmosphere
Skills & Experience Preferred:
- Previous barista or hospitality experience
- Ability to operate commercial coffee machines and grinders
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
