Bar Person position

Marlborough golf course is a ‘must play’ course nestled in the beautiful wine province of Marlborough. The Marlborough Golf Club has a strong and passionate membership and a welcoming and friendly environment.

We invite applications for the position of Bar Person, alongside a team of volunteers, to help deliver exceptional hospitality services to our members and visitors.

The role is 25 hours per week – Thursday to Sunday.

Applicants will need to prove they have:

• Comprehensive skills in bar management and hospitality.
• Ability to operate POS systems and bar equipment.
• Kitchen and food handling experience.
• Proven record of operating positively and productively. Willingness to undertake extra training as required to implement new technology, techniques or practices as determined by the employer.
• Flexibility in work hours to meet demands as they arise.
• Pride and great work ethic and commitment in your work with attention to detail.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand. Remuneration is negotiable to experience.
