Bar/Floor Staff – Auckland

We are a locally owned hospitality group with 4 venues in the Auckland area (Ponsonby, Auckland CBD, North Shore & Central Auckland), and we are currently seeking a talented Floor staff to join our team.

As a Front of House Floor person, you will be responsible for serving all customers at the restaurant in a courteous and professional manner at all times while contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment to work in. You are required to provide an unforgettable experience for our customers, they are to image our company at all times. Tasks include but are not limited to seating guests, making recommendations, explaining the service style & items on offer, ordering & ensuring your guests are well looked after among other side duties, clearing empty plates & glasses off tables, resetting tables in a timely manner to accommodate your next guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of self presentation, cleanliness of the venue at all times to reflect the brand, and safety in the venue for guests as well as staff.

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous waiting experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but we are happy to train up the right candidate
  • Strong interest & some knowledge of food & beverage
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • A passion for hospitality & excellence
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
