Are you a skilled cook who enjoys serving quality, good-value meals to appreciative Club members? We are looking for a reliable and experienced casual Cook to join their friendly hospitality team!
About the Role: You’ll be supporting the Head Cook in preparing and serving classic, crowd-pleasing food for our members and guests. The kitchen gets busy during weekends and club nights when sports are on the big screen and after events and tournaments, so you’ll need to work well under pressure and bring a great attitude to every shift. You’ll be cooking to order, ensuring timely service and accurate presentation, in accordance with Club and current Health and Food Safety standards.
Ensuring proper food handling, storage and sanitation practices is key, as is maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, including equipment and work areas. You may be required to assist with ordering and stocking kitchen supplies and menu planning, along with serving meals to members and guests.

- Availability to work casual, flexible hours (especially weekends and evenings)
- A team player who can communicate and collaborate with other staff
- Someone who’s reliable and trustworthy
- Good time management skills
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service – consistently
- Friendly and professional – able to interact well and build rapport with customers
- A sense of humour – important in a busy kitchen!
- A full, clean and current New Zealand Driver’s Licence
