How to collect and forward your postal mail

 

Any correspondence sent to you MUST be POSTED to this address, otherwise we cannot manage your mail for you:

Collecting Your Mail

 

Collecting mail is simple and easy! When we receive post for you at WTC, we find you in our system and email you.  In the email we describe what you have received, e.g. “1 standard letter” or “1 parcel 1kg-2kg”.

 

Please remember to check your junk mail/spam box every now and again, sometimes our mails are diverted to your junk/spam in your email account. If you are in Sydney, or when you come back to Sydney from your travels, you can collect your mail from the WTC Mailroom by producing your WTC ID card as identification.

 

Post cannot be collected by a third party (someone else) unless WTC has authority from you. This authority can be given by email to [email protected]. You must include the name of the person collecting the post.

 

Mail forwarding, made easy!

 

We understand that, while you are away from home, it is important to receive your post no matter where you are in Australia. If you are not in Sydney, you can always request your mail to be forwarded to anywhere in Australia. Here’s how:

1. You will be notified that you have post by email. Simply reply to us with your forwarding address and request that we send your mail to you.

 

2. It’s a good idea to be at that address for 7-10 working days, so that the post arrives before you leave, e.g if you were only going to be in Melbourne for 2 days, it is not a good idea to ask for mail to be forwarded as it will not arrive before you leave.

 

3. To forward your mail you must have money on your snail mail account. You can add money from the Member’s Portal Home Page or the form at the bottom of this page. You will need a PayPal account OR credit/debit card. A good starting amount is $5 if you think you may receive a small post, or $10+ if you are expecting a few pieces of mail. Alternatively, if you do not have a credit/debit card or PayPal account, you can upload money to your snail mail account with cash at the WTC Office. Just ask one of the staff and they will be able to assist you.

 

4. Money will only deducted from your account for postage of letters. All parcels are sent from WTC “cash on delivery”: this means that you pay for the postage when you collect your parcel from the Post Office that services the postcode your parcel is being sent to.
