Day 1 – Monday – Arrival, Airport Transfers and Accommodation
Our hosts will greet you at the airport and take you to your premium hostel accommodation (breakfast included), pre-booked for 7 nights from arrival. You may find that you need some time to get used to your new surroundings, relax and re-energize. If you are in the mood for some evening fun, why not visit the bar downstairs for a drink or two and witness the world-famous crab races? Day 2 – Tuesday – Lunch at Sydney Tower Restaurant
Sydney Tower is the highest point in the City of Sydney and provides breathtaking panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Day 3 – Wednesday – An Aussie BBQ at Bondi Beach
Slip on your comfy shoes – maybe even some flip-flops (known as ‘thongs’ in Australia) - to visit the famous Bondi Beach. A hearty Aussie Barbecue will be served up for lunch in this iconic location. After lunch, stroll the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, and get just a taste of some of Australia's magnificent beaches.
Day 4 – Thursday – Surf’s Up!Take a scenic trip down the New South Wales South Coast to our Surf Camp. Let our surf instructors introduce you to an exhilarating sport enjoyed by many travellers. Afterwards, laze on the beach and marvel at the miles of whie sand that make up part of Australia's beautiful coast line. Look out for the life guards in the red-and-yellow uniforms – they are an icon of Australian beach culture.
Day 5 – Friday – Wine Tasting in the Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is renowned for its fine wines. On this trip you’ll be able to taste a variety of wines from this region and soak up a little history and culture at the same time. Rev up your evening when the bus returns to Sydney, as we head off to explore Sydney by night. We’ll visit four of Sydney’s best known backpacker bars. And best of all you’ll get a complimentary drink on arrival at each bar!
Day 6 – Saturday – Taronga Zoo
Today we take a ferry across the harbour to Sydney’s famous Taronga Zoo. You can experience some of Australia’s unique flora here, as well as the more exotic animals. Check out the Sky Safari for a birds-eye view of the zoo and another panoramic view across our stunning harbour.
Day 7 – Sunday – Harbour Lunch Cruise and Pub Crawl
Enjoy the sights of the harbour on a lunch cruise. Indulge in some top-quality seafood or a decadent dessert. And why not have a drink or two? A spectacular finale to an action-packed week!
